From an ambitious beginning in Sabah Al-Salem to a purpose-built home in Salmiya, CBS ABA was created to make evidence-based support feel safe, respectful, and deeply personal.
Our story
A story that grew with families' trust.
CBS ABA (Compassionate Behavior Services) began in Sabah Al-Salem in November 2024. Families responded to the quality of its services and the care surrounding every child, and their trust became the foundation for the center’s next chapter.
Around a year later, CBS moved to its current home in Anfal Complex, Salmiya, with over 12 therapy rooms thoughtfully prepared for individualized learning, assessment, and family partnership.
The center was founded to help reshape the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis in Kuwait by bringing rigorous science and humane application together. It is a place where evidence guides decisions, dignity is never negotiable, and each child is known as a whole person.

Our clinicians draw on established behavioral frameworks, direct observation, objective data, and family priorities. Methods are selected and adapted for the individual child - never applied as a one-size-fits-all formula.
Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) and Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) support safer, collaborative responses to severe challenging behavior while building meaningful replacement skills.
Functional Communication Training (FCT) helps replace unsafe or ineffective behavior with clear, practical ways to communicate needs, choices, discomfort, and requests.
Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and errorless learning connect carefully planned instruction with everyday routines, play, participation, and successful practice.
VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, EFL, and PEAK may be selected by qualified clinicians to clarify current skills, barriers, priorities, and useful next steps.
Individual ABA, home-based support, shadow teaching, academic support, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and full-day programming can form one coordinated pathway around the learner.

Supervision & standards
- Clinical planning and review are led through internationally recognized behavioral supervision, including BCBA and IBA-qualified professionals.
- Programs are informed by current professional and ethical standards associated with BACB, IBAO, and QABA frameworks.
- Digital data systems support consistent collection, clinical analysis, transparent review, and careful monitoring of individualized progress.
A multidisciplinary team
- Clinical supervisors (BCBA / IBA) design, guide, and regularly review individualized behavioral programs.
- Behavior technicians (RBT / ABAT) deliver carefully planned sessions with professionalism, consistency, and positive engagement.
- Behavior-analytic shadow teachers support participation, learning, and successful inclusion within classroom and school environments.
- Speech, occupational therapy, academic, and developmental professionals coordinate perspectives around the needs of the whole child.
